Terms and Conditions

Payments

After you have enjoyed your free taster session (weekly sessions only) and are happy to go ahead, we can arrange a mutually convenient time and book you in for your first 4 sessions. Payment is welcomed in 4 session blocks by bank transfer. Your place is guaranteed once you have signed up. I need to have received this payment before I will start the sessions. You will receive a receipt stating the weeks that you have paid for. If there are any problems with payment please speak to me.

Time Keeping

When regular sessions are booked the agreed time will be reserved for you. The session is for the allotted time only.

Cancellations

Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel a session. I appreciate that sometimes illness and unforeseen circumstances will happen. I am able to carry payment forward for one missed session per school term. Beyond this sessions will be charged for. If I arrive for a session which hasn't been cancelled you will be charged as normal.

Safeguarding

I have a live DBS check in place and a first aid qualification. If a session is taking place in your home I also ask that an adult is around. All correspondence will be with a parent/carer, not the child.

Ending Tuition with

If you want to end tuition with me I ask for 2 weeks notice if possible so that I can round off current learning.

Behaviour

Parents are responsible for ensuring their children know how to behave during tutoring sessions. Any unacceptable behaviour will result in termination of tutoring. The focus for me is on helping your child move forward with their learning.
